Geneo Facial

Magdalena Florczak, Elite Aesthetics — Geneo facial

Before, during and after: Geneo Facial

Show the guide

Geneo is a facial with a handheld device and treatment gels, so there is very little to prepare.

Before

  • Pause retinol and exfoliating acids for a couple of days beforehand.
  • Let us know before your visit if you have sunburn, a cold sore or a skin infection on the face.
  • Tell us about skin sensitivities and allergies.
  • Come make-up free if you can — we cleanse your skin first either way.

During

  • A treatment gel is applied to your face and a handheld device is moved over the skin.
  • You'll feel gentle warmth and a light fizzing from the gel.
  • The gel is removed and the skin is finished with a serum.

After

  • Mild redness or warmth can show for a short while.
  • Use sun protection afterwards.
  • Skip strong actives such as retinol or acids for a day or so.
  • If anything worries you or a problem comes up, check in with Magda.
